At Olson's Flowers & Gifts, we have been proudly serving the greater Madison area since 1954. Our story began when Bill Olson first began designing with flowers in his parent's basement, and just ten years later opened his iconic gift shop on 214 E Main Street. For decades, Bill and Muriel Olson dedicated themselves to providing exceptional floral arrangements and exceptional service to our community.

In 2023, the Olson family passed the baton to Kristen Dresen to bring new life to the shop and the Olson's Flowers legacy for the next generation.

Kristen's creative passion first emerged through floral design in an unexpected way. It began as a hobby, growing flowers with her Dad as a way to make the most of their time together as she helped him navigate a difficult journey. The entire experience made a lasting impact on her outlook for the future.

Today, Kristen combines her corporate expertise with her love for design to craft exceptional florals, events, and spaces for her clients. Her team is dedicated to fostering connections and enhancing the joy of special moments that leave a lasting impression. We're proud to have been voted Best of Madison two years running — a reflection of the same care and passion that's guided this shop since 1954.
